Web fonts beta

I signed up to test the beta webfonts from fonts.com. I was very excited with the prospects of jazzing this blog up with some funky fonts but I can’t seem to get it working, it may be due to it still being in beta stage. I’ll try again soon at it.
I think the introduction of these web font services is an exciting time for the web, no longer are we limited to Verdana headlines, opening up limitless options for web designers.
I would expect there will be lots of interesting experiments with type emerging from this. I can’t wait to play with this new type playground that is our web.
PrePosterous

So set myself up a Posterous account, new microblogging site where you just email your post with attached images, video, mp3s etc to post@posterous.com. I like it. Simple. Very good for when you’re on the move.
Need a new phone mind you, can’t believe the guy in the phone shop cancelled my insurance as he said it wasn’t even worth insuring!
Right 2010 shopping list:

Maid for my room
Jonathan Ball
AKA Poked Studio
I can’t believe Poked Studio is just one man. When I first came across the site about 2/3 years ago I was convinced there was a whole studio of designers behind it all.
His work is incredible.
That’s Smashing
So I’ve pre-ordered The Smashing Book today.
